The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

Saw this at the movies this morning ….took the kids along. My son and I both liked it, my daughter found it boring. Tilda Swinton as the White Witch was great, I also thought the girl who played Susan Pevensie (Anna Popplewell) was good. The biblical references were there, but not laid on too thick. Loved the talking animals, beavers, foxes, wolves etc. Not having read any of C.S Lewis’ books, I only had a vague idea what to expect, and enjoyed the movie for what it was.
Favourite line:
Edmund Pevensie:
[horse rears up] Whoa, Horsey.
Phillip the Horse:
I have a name. It’s Phillip.
