Some scientists are undertaking earth shattering research into one of the world’s great problems, and their answers will undoubtedly change mankind’s future.

That question is: “does my bum look big in this?”

Scientists in Scotland are launching what may be the world’s first study into how clothing can affect the appearance of the female butt. Female volunteers wearing hundreds of different types of clothing will have their bottoms photographed for the research. Participants will then be asked to look at the pictures to assess how big or small each model’s backside appears. The results from the first phase of the study are to be published in May.

Now, I wonder what protection of the anonymity of the participants - no matter what security the researchers try, their answers will find their way back to the participants’ partners …. thats inevitable.

It all sounds like an excuse for a good perve if you ask me. I wonder who’s funding this vital research ….and how the research team justified it on their grant application.

The university where this monumental piece of research is taking place is Heriot Watt University.
