Doesn’t this just shit you?
It does me.
Court cases where the defendant claims mitigation because they were pissed, or stoned, or off their face for some reason, or had a bad childhood or something.
In this case, where the victim was stabbed by a 17 year old youth, the youth’s lawyer said he had been “extremely,extremely intoxicated” on the night, as if this is some sort of defence for randomly stabbing some guy who just happened to cross his path. Well, too bad, so sad. If you can’t drink without getting angry and violent there is an easy solution - don’t drink, fuckwit! Also, I reckon anyone who carries a knife in public should get a couple of years gaol just for that, and if they commit crimes with it, thats just the flagfall on their sentence. I note the maximum sentence for the youth’s offence is 10 years gaol …. bet you he gets nothing like that though, probably a year or so.
Then we have this case where a woman smashed a beer glass in another woman’s face, leaving her blind in one eye. Her lawyer argued her client had consumed a lot of alcohol on the night, plus was an orphan, and then went for the hat trick, saying she had been abused when she was young. OK, maybe unfortunate, but no excuse for getting violent - if she can’t handle it, don’t drink. The offender, Tyneal Louise Jenkins, got 5 years for this. (by the way, Tyneal …..bogan alert!!!!).

It makes a person to scared to walk the friggin streets. All these poor stoned/drunk bastards with bad childhoods just waiting to pounce on us!

Just more cases of people not willing to accept the consequences for what they have done. But, hey, I guess if you get told often enough by “support organisations” that none of what you do is your fault…

It is stupid, makes you wonder how fair the system really is. Why can’t people just take responsabiliy for their actions? Pisses me off.

Well arent you all wrong Tyneal happens to take full responsibility for what she did, the only reason it is in the papers is the judge read her physic report which she was made to do, then proceeded to ask questions about her child hood the media and all the people out their in the world like you who think you know everything you dont!!! Oh and What sort of a boggan name is Steph or Jack and BOYSENBERRY thats just pothetic why dont you all find something else to talk about other than tyneal, oh and buy the way she isnt one to play on her feelings and say poor me she holds her head up and supports her hole family and buy family i mean older brothers and sisters!!! And she was and is more concerned for the people in her life than herself she never puts herself first

Almost forgot something She didnt smash the glass into her face as she walked away she tossed it and unfortunately it did hit someone in the face and that lady happened to be a copper

Well, it would be expected that some half-educated monkey would defend a bogan like Tyneal, and is probably a friend…does she really need friends who can neither spell nor punctuate? Then defends the indefensible, having “tossed”a glass into a persons face!!..Sort of makes you think that she feels that if it had not been a “coppers”face, she might have gotten away with it….doesn´t it?! No i wouldnt have a clue who Tyneal is but when you know someone who has been through the court system or in the press even you know that not all you read and hear is the truth, Its like the big brother stuff and lots of other press shit you hear one side of a story i beleive give everyone a fair go think about it first girl no previous convictions well it doesnt really add up in my head!!! Sorry if your 2stupid to think for yourself and half to beleive everything you read henry boysenberry….

Tyneal is a close friend of mine and only a real friend can know what she has been through nobody has the right to judge unless they have been through or experirnced the same situation. Just imagine if it happened to you or your brother sister uncle aunty son daughter you wouldnt be posting all this bull up!!!

Unless you know anything about the Jenkins Case maybe you should keep your opinions to yourself. Im sure the young girl has alot of regret for her actions & no doubt when she has served her time she will come out a much better person then you`ll ever be. Give the kid a break maybe her only mistake was that it wasnt your face : )
