Just so evil
How could someone do something like killing an 8 year old girl he picked up at random? Thats what happened to Sofia Rodrigez-Urrutia-Shu on Monday this week in Perth.
A couple of interesting things have emerged since Dante Wyndham Arthurs was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting and murdering Sofia. First, his home has been attacked by vigilantes - I can understand the strong feelings a crime like this generates in people, but attacking his property (actually his parents’ house) is pretty pointless. Second, authorities have had to quash rumours that Arthurs was in fact one of the two boys who abducted and murdered James Bulger in England in 1993. Those boys, Jon Venables and Robert Thompson, were given new identities and relocated upon their release from prison, and there has previously been speculation that one was in Australia. Now, we have his lawyers claiming all the publicity surrounding the case will deny Dante Arthurs a fair trial.
If there was a case for capital punishment in Australia, a crime like this would surely be a strong candidate for the perpetrator to be subject to the death penalty - much to be said for eradicating the scum who do this sort of thing from the face of the earth. I suspect that he will get it via unofficial channels in prison at some stage.

This is not only sad and depressing, but also a reminder of the bestial nature of man - the barbarious, freak show, driven my raging hormones and lust. No one deserves such a death!

It’s all very sad, really. A young girl, about MissB’s age, has her life violently and horribly cut short.
No doubt, if he goes into prison, he will get justice served unto him.

I’ve probably been a bit too over protective of my daughter, but now that she’s old enough to understand how quick something like this can happen I hope she can see why I’m like that.
It’s just too unbelieveable to think that our precious babies can be taken away from us just like that.

what I find sad is that this scum bag was accused before of interfering with a young girl and because the police questioning was deemed too hostile by a previous lawyer, the case was dropped. I wonder what this wonderful lawyer is thinking now-he has blood on his hands. Dante Arthurs, along with all his pedo’ mates should be hung, drawn and quartered.

I don’t think capital punishment cuts it with these sick individuals. Put him in mainstream population at the Canning Vale prison and let the inmates deal with him. Maybe then he will get a taste of what he did to this little girl — to die a horrendous death. Someone said no-one deserves such a death — Dante Arthurs does. To think that I have been to this shopping centre many a time with my daughter just a year older — it makes my blood run cold.

The same day this story came on the news I did a foolish thing. I was running late and my 7 year old had to go to the toilet. I had to get to the supermarket and get home. So I took my 18 month old with me and said to my 7 year old to run to the toilet,(in the same shopping complex) and meet me in the vegie section of the supermarket.(supermarket located along side toilets) I have never done this before and am usually really freaked about the whole public toilet thing. Sometimes when you are running late you make mistakes BUT
