PDA alert

Big news day today obviously. Margaret Whitlam, wife of former PM Gough, criticised Janette Howard, wife of John, for ….get this …. holding hands with him in public. Errrr, PDA (public display of affection) - is something my kids would say when my wife and I hold hands or kiss in public, but its hardly news.

According to Mrs Whitlam:

“For God’s sake, they’ve been married for over 30 years!”

So I wonder what in her mind is the cutoff point for being able to show affection publicly? 5 years, 10 years, 20 years? What about sex then, when is that supposed to stop? (Some might claim about 6 months after the wedding?) By the way, even contemplating the idea of sex in the context of John and Janette, or Gough and Margaret …..damn scary thought!!!

  2. I’m no fan of the Howards, but Mrs Whitlam is a crusty old biatch who hasn’t had a good root in over forty years. I’d put money on it.

Somebody buy her a vibrator. STAT.

  3. Sorry Steph you’re missing the point. Marg’s on the money: Janette’s a dud, just like the weasel she’s attached to. And as for the Whitlam’s sex scenario, I’d put folding currency on their nooky being a damn sight more interesting than that of the current first family’s.
