Small world

Tonight in Tokyo, I ate Indian food served by a Nepalese waiter, who had been to Australia and spoke English and Japanese.



Last night was at a Japanese BBQ place. I wish I’d taken my camera, its a bit of a show the way the cook prepares the food at your table. Also, one of the dishes really did look like someone had spewed on the hotplate (although carrots, always present in vomit, were missing in action). Despite appearances, it was really tasty.



Another observation - beer vending machines. There’s one near work and it must have about 20 different types of canned beer. Just the thing for those emergencies when the bottle shop is closed and you need beer.
