Homing pigeons
There are plenty of dumb criminals around, but these lot must rank right down amongst the intellectual pygmies of our time. They stole 14 GPS (global positioning system) devices from a warehouse in New York state. How were they tracked down? By the owners of the GPS devices, who activated them remotely, and used them to locate exactly where they were … in the home of one of the dimwitted tools who stole them.

They were so dumb, they thought the GPS devices were cell phones. Of course, cell phones look exactly like GPS units, don’t they? I wonder if they tried making any calls with them?
