Dickheads and their cars
Had to laugh at this …sucked in dickhead!
A 21 year old learner driver had his $110k Mercedes impounded after being caught doing 164 kmh in a 100 zone in Melbourne last night. This dickhead had already had his learner’s permit suspended for other speeding offences, and obviously doesn’t give a rats arse about the law, or common sense or basic intelligent behaviour. No doubt he’ll get a slap over the wrist, a further license suspension and a bit of a fine. With his sort of attitudes to driving, he should be permanently banned from driving and his impounded car sold off by the government - a $110k lesson and a lifetime of bus, train and tram might drive the message home.
(By the way, 21 years old, student and $110k car??? Drug dealer anyone?)
This follows a haul of 14 impounded cars last Friday. Including one, a 19 year old driving a BMW at 202 kmh, apparently another student, and another brainiac doing 136 kmh in a 60 zone, the day after he bought the car. These dickwits get their cars impounded for 48 hours first time around, then 3 months, then permanently on the 3rd offence. Personally, I’d do the permanent confiscation first up for the really bad speeding offences, and other examples of idiot driving, along with the permanent loss of license.
The pick of the bunch though was the tool who got his mum’s car impounded. That is the work of a true mental pigmy. The fact that a dickhead gets a friend or family member’s car impounded shouldn’t stop the police confiscating it long term or permanently. Might encourage parents, siblings, friends to be responsible about who they let use their car and under what circumstances.
I reckon one thing that would make a big difference to road deaths would be to psych test license applicants, to screen out people with bad attitudes, overaggressiveness etc. Plenty of employers psych test for jobs, can’t be too hard to come up with a test for giving out driving licenses?
But then, plenty of habitual driving offenders don’t bother about having a license or not. NSW Police recently caught some people driving away from court after having their license disqualified. Should have wheeled them straight back in front of the magistrate, so he/she scould deal with them while justifiably shitty at the dickhead who just thumbed their nose at the penalty they had just been given.
