I wonder if this was just a caption person at the TV station who can’t spell, or bogan parents who either couldn’t spell Sinead, or were trying to be clever and give their daughter a “different” name.

Given her appearance, and the nature of the story (she was a witness), I strongly suspect that mum and dad are the guilty parties.
