If I was an American
I’d be voting for Barack Obama, according to the electoral compass tool which I found via Chosha’s blog.

From the safe distance of Australia, Obama strikes me as the candidate who promises the most in the way of change. It will be interesting to see whether a black man is too scary a thought for the US voting public - or a woman, Hilary Clinton, for that matter. In my view, either of them would be a change for the better in America.

Thanks for the link. Sounds like we have similar political outlooks…I wonder if we voted the same in the Oz election.
I don’t understand why people are so afraid of Hillary. Most of the time it seems like their real problem with her is that she is a strong woman and not afraid to show it. Personally I don’t find her scary at all - I mean seriously, did these people ever get a glimpse of the terror that was Maggie Thatcher?
