Guns do (or more particularly idiots with guns do). Religious liberty is fine too, although seeing that polygamous sect on TV tonight makes me think there are plenty of people around who need protecting from some of the religious nutjobs going around. As for men and governments being tyrannical, that seems to be a uniquely American view of their world, which I don't believe is shared by people in other western democracies.
