Parents getting business cards for their toddlers to hand out.

Growing numbers of parents are investing in business cards for their children. Parenting experts have dubbed the notion “preposterous”, believing it to be a classic example of obsessive parenting. Yep, sure is! Competitive parenting is a bit of a sport, with crap like this, the multi-thousand dollar birthday parties and the like. I find it all quite bizarre, but if mum and dad get off on this sort of wankery, I suppose its their money they are wasting. Still I wonder about the sort of values being instilled in the kids by these sorts of parents?

These parents are nuts. Let kids be kids. It’s idiocy I think.
They are the same parent who chuck their kids into therapy in a few years time, because they have screwed them up.
    Harsh opinion? Probably..

Oh FFS! Sweet FA values is what they’re instilling.
I must be getting old because the more I see of this crap, the sadder I get…

    Pathetic…

My kids love my business cards. They are excellent for cutting up, making planes, drawing on, fake money, credit cards, you name. Just not for giving out. Why under any circumstances would you want kids to have contact details or anything that could identify them to potentially sick people.

    *shakes head in despair*

Unbelievable! But, nothing surprises me anymore.
