the only reason i’d ever pull a knife is if i were accosted by multiple people. each time you pull it, it’s a liability. back in her idiotic days, my sister in law wanted to carry one. i told her don’t carry a knife unless you’re prepared to get stabbed, and that i bet i could take it off her. because she was ready for my attempt, she snatched her hand away early – but poked herself in the chin with it. the knife never left the house, a lesson learned i think.

if i get into an altercation with a single person that i can’t talk my way out of (always the first priority – being “right” isn’t as important as being safe!), and they pull a knife on me there’s a pretty good chance i can just take theirs, no need to pull mine out and make it all dramatic.

i used to live in melbourne, and i can’t understand the fixation people have with eating that garbage food called mcdonalds. there’s clearly not something right in the heads of the population if mcdonalds is worth stabbing over.
