Out of town

Posted by Ian in my stuff on September 30th, 2008

I’m flying out tomorrow for a week in Tasmania, visiting my wife’s relatives.  As such, I’ll probably be scarce on my blog and the internet generally during that time.

I so miss Tassie, born in Launceston, have relatives there, Devonport, Burnie, Deloraine and lived right on the extreme NW tip of Tassie at Woolnorth. It wasn’t open to the public like it is now. That is where Cape Grim is situated, has a CSIRO air monitoring station , and is where a large mass of Aborigines were pushed over the cliff into the sea by early settlers.
