In my letterbox today I found a letter telling me I’d won 785,510 euros in a Spanish lottery. All I have to do to claim my winnings is send my bank account details and an authorisation for General Security Company SA to act on my behalf in processing the transfer of the winnings to my account.
Woot!!!! Need to fill in the form tonight and get the money asap. What can I get myself with 785,510 euros?
So not only are my email and blog spammed – I’m now getting it via snail mail.

ohh i received that same lottery @#%$ from El Gordo i think 5 years back, though it was sent thru email…how was i supposed to win in a lottery i didn’t join?! hate spams.
Man, if I had a penny for every time I got a scam lottery e-mail….er…I’d have won the lottery by now! Hooray!
Michael – I get a million spam lottery emails. The interesting thing about this one was it came by regular post office mail. I got another, different one today also. Someone’s obviously sold my details to spammers.
I would refer the letter to the local police and postal authorities, as such amounts to nothing short of a scam.
Ugh…spam mail telling me I have won the lottery shits me no end. Can’t believe that there are some out in the world who fall for this garbage and get caught up in the scheme.
