Leading mobile phone manufacturers announced on Tuesday they had agreed to produce a standardised charger for the industry.
Hoo-bloody-ray …then we won’t have umpteen chargers sitting around the house/office but never being able to find the one that fits your phone.
The standard shape to be adopted by 17 manufacturers including Nokia, Motorola and Samsung is to be mini USB. The target is that the majority of mobile phones shipped by 2012 will support this new interface.
Lets also try for car kits for phones, power packs for laptops, and I’m sure there are lots of other things where standardisation would be most useful.
We sent off four old phone chargers to a bushfire appeal. Two had the same plugs, the other two totally different. Ridiculous.

Like DVDs and Blueray it will only last until someone comes up with a new one that they think is better and then all bets are off again.

Your are absolutely right. In my family most of them use the Nokia but thier chargers are different to use each other when we do not carring the extra chargers.
Nokiya this mobile phone I’ve used are the signal it, but now I use the Motorola cell phone, really liked this, but also beautiful and can be power, function well. This is really good cell phone, would be most useful.
