If there was ever an Oscar that was a certainty, money in the bank if you bet on it, it was the best supporting actor award that Heath Ledger won today. I mean, he was very good in the part, and most likely would have won on his own merits, but dying between making the movie and the Academy Awards, turned him from a good chance to an absolute certainty.
Well, Heath really did play the role very well. I think he deserves all those wins.
Great actor he was, indeed. Biggest question though: you think he would’ve won if he hadn’t passed away?

I agree, I knew he would win. It was hands down the best supporting actor award of the year.
Heath deserves and he got his prices i don’t think he won because he had passed away or not he got his award on his talent.!!!
