A 35 year old Ipswich man has been charged with the rape and attempted murder of his 2 year old son.
Police were called to a Collingwood Park home, south-west of Brisbane, at 11.51am (AEST) yesterday and arrived within minutes to find the boy seriously injured.
The boy was taken by ambulance to the Mater Children’s Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
Once again, I have to ask, what could possibly motivate a human being to do things like this?
