Animal rights group, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is upset at US President Barack Obama because he swatted a fly during a TV interview.
They are sending him a Katcha Bug Humane Bug Catcher, a device that allows users to trap a house fly and then release it outside.
For fucks sake, it was a fly. Who gives a shit about them? They are pests.

Hi Enny – I’m actually quite reasonable about not killing things. I get in trouble at home for catching spiders and putting them outside rather than just squishing them. But flies are too low on the totem pole for me to care. (not that we actually get that many here?)
I love a good steak once in awhile.. and I don’t like flies bothering me while I cut into it.

I think PETA damaged their own credibility with that ridiculous over-reaction. It was a fly. It’s not like he clubbed a baby seal, for god’s sake.
