The local economy is getting a boost this weekend over in Perth. 2 US warships, aircraft carrier USS George Washington and guided missile cruiser USS Cowpens docked off Fremantle yesterday. Between them there are more than 5,000 sailors in town. Business groups estimate they will contribute some $5m to the local economy over the weekend. [...]
