Great Wall
Went to the Great Wall at Mutianyu today. It was spectacular - not only the wall but all the autumn foliage on the trees.

A bonus was the toboggan ride back down from the wall. And yes, fast food in the form of Subway has found its way to the Great Wall of China … what next? A McDonalds on top of Uluru?

Wow, what an amazing time of year to see it in as well, hadn’t considered it would be autumn there, the colours give it a different look to what you’d see in the tourist brochures.
How far do you think you walked up it?

Another of those places I’d love to see. Pretty amazing photos - it’s great to see someone’s “real” pictures. The views must be spectacular.

Wow, this is awesome. Wat a great views and indeed the autumn foliage on the trees makes it even nicer. A shame though about the Subway. Monuments like this should be kept intact.

Great pics. The Great Wall is an amazing feat of engineering, and really cool because its so old.

I heard that Great Wall could be soon destroyed by huge amounts of tourists visiting China every year to visit this wonder. And I think to myself: will it be saved? Surely in time the government will spend some money to reconstruct this landmark but before that many unique elements could be lost forever.
